Dus!

28th Feb

Tuesday is usually my off day from workout. Eventually rest from all workout sessions since it is a weekly off for the club house (for swimming) & training at the running group. This Tuesday ended up being awful. Some bad , unexpected stuff and I was extremely upset. Full mood off! Taken after my mum, blessed with an 'enthu'ness most of the time, that no bad news, terrible fights, depression affects me for more than 24 hours at a stretch. To overcome Terrible Tuesday, I should've gone cycling /training on Wednesday morning but the adamant akka in me kalti marofyed training. Didn't feel like getting up from bed.. one of those days where 'I am upset' becomes an excuse for everything. Thankfully, with the husband around things got a li'l better by Wednesday afternoon.

29th Feb

Came back home early (the advantages of 'notice period' in office) and went for a wonderful swim for an hour. The weather was perfect and with the exams, there were no jumping jacks a.k.a naughty kids around in the pool. Felt super!

1st Mar

Ran a good 10 kms today. This was all so not planned. Started off quite early. As I ran and ran and ran counting the number of dairy shops on the way, number of chickens getting transported in the tempos and ready for slaughter , number of news papers delivery boys were arranging etc , had reached one of the main railway stations and a tired me took a train back. Came back home to calculate the distance of google maps. Wah! it was some 10 point some kms. Too much ! Feeling awesome!

I must celebrate it with a cupcake:-)
