Zonked out!

2nd March 

Friday was mega tiring after the 10k on Thursday. Managed to cycle for 40 minutes and an hour of yoga, stretching etc. including a bit of running for 15 minutes, in the morning. Though was exhausted, it didn't deter me  from making plans to meet three awesome people I had worked with in this company later that day. Punjabi food & a lot of laughter over dinner. In times like these, I think about some of these young (20 something) girls on twitter whose food related tweets always have a calorie /"I am fat" / "I am thin " component attached. Can't we just enjoy eating food without having to ALWAYS think about calories along with it? What a sad life these girls must be leading having to fear the number of calories entering their body when every morsel of food gets into their mouth. That's probably why I love this man's food tweets. It is a gastronomical delight watching the food pics he posts from the Dhabas/ restaurants/ sweet dubbas.

3rd March

The one hour swim on Saturday was super awesome. The water was very cold. Can't wait for full-on summer. Was/ am never a winter person. Was so... tired after the swim, dropped my mega shopping plans mid-way in the evening and came back home to crash out.

4th March 

Our early morning weekend run with the group was pretty good. Managed to complete 6 km which in itself is a big deal for me. Spotted Anil Ambani running with his bodyguards (trainers?) at Marine drive. Breakfast at Le Pain Quotodien again  since the plan to meet at Bandra with cousins fell through. Yogurt+fruits, and Pancake. Came back home and zzleept for a good two hours till afternoon. 

As a fitting finale to the mega hectic training week enjoyed a super Thai foot massage in the evening today. Whatte! 

The coming week looks promising and hectic. Have a good week ahead guys!
