It's the time to wear pristine white clothes...
It's the time to celebrate birthdays and anniversary...
It's the time for 'Tiger' holidays...
It's the time to drink tons of water...
It's the time to sweat it out!

Summer, my most favorite season is here. What's the fun in hiding behind a rajaai throughout the day for 4 months? How much can you enjoy sipping hot chai during winters? How long can we romanticize the monsoon season that is slushy? You may feel dirty, sweaty but think of the wonderful shower once you get back home... wonderful, isn't it?
I am a pucca Madras girl. Thankfully, Bombay like Madras faces the sea and hence no dry heat like Dilli. I prefer to sweat it out in the summers.
Last week (19th March) started fairly well. Wednesday's (21st) training was punishing and hence bunked off Friday's (23rd March). Went for a 9km run on Saturday (24th March). Sunday's (25th March) special training at the beach was kinda ok since running on the beach wasn't as taxing as I thought it'd be. The best part about cities like Madras and Bombay is that you get to run near the beach which is wonderful. Today (27th March) again ,we ran across the coast for 45 minutes and it was awesome! Today's run was extra special since I managed to meet up atleast three of our Senior Management people a.k.a Bade Saabs including him . This man is truly an inspiration for me and it's great to meet him every Sunday when we meet up for the weekend run.
Went for a lovely swim at our club house on Monday (26th March) after a long time. The water was neither too hot nor cold. Just loved being in the water for an entire hour. Looking forward to more swim sessions this summer. Trying to make it an everyday thing from now on. Summer rockzzz!
